matter. sound. form
I work at the intersection of art, sound, and psychology. My projects explore how sound can be translated into tangible forms — whether through sculptures, jewelry, or installations.

When meaning and sound take tangible shape
Sounds are not merely waves in space
They become matter, shaping our memories and leaving a mark upon us.

The Matter. Sound. Form project transforms these invisible waves into tangible forms, turning meaningful sounds into symbols and art objects that tell personal stories.
Imagine the sounds that hold meaning for you:
the hum of a street heard through an open window, the first chords you played on a guitar, the gentle crash of waves on a summer afternoon, the laughter of a child, or the voice of a loved one now far away.

These sounds do not vanish, they leave their mark—they remain a part of us. Matter. Sound. Form gives them a new dimension, a shape that can be seen and touched, keeping those moments alive.
Brands, businesses, and cities also carry a unique acoustic identity:
the sound of a production line at the heart of your company, the noises of the street where your vision first took shape, or the wind sweeping along the waterfront. These sounds are more than noise—they tell stories and create connections.
Matter. Sound. Form transforms these sounds into symbolic art objects that reflect your values and identity
These pieces become ambassadors for your brand, city, or story—creating lasting emotional connections.
Each art object is sound transformed into form. A time capsule that preserves memories and takes us to another time or place.

what i offer
Concept Development
Based on the findings, I create a personalized concept that brings your vision to life. This includes:
  • Material suggestions
  • Design ideas (e.g., sculptures, installations, objects)
  • A transparent cost evaluation
03
Research and Sound Discovery
Whether urban sounds, natural landscapes, or corporate acoustics — we identify the sound that carries your message. For my artistic projects, I personally explore and experiment with sounds, uncovering their distinctive qualities
02
Analysis and Dialogue
The process begins with an in-depth conversation. We analyze your vision, identify themes and values, and lay the foundation upon which the project will be built
01
What does your vision sound like? Every project is unique and requires a tailored approach.
Together, we develop a concept that connects sound and form in an exceptional way.
Refinement and Adjustment
We review the concept together and refine it until it fully captures your vision.
04
Realization
I transform sound into art. Using carefully selected materials, I create works that harmonize with the overall idea of the project. The result could be a sculpture, installation, or art object
05
I guide you through every step of the process, keeping you informed along the way. Together, we create a work of art that transforms your vision into a tangible form
06
Transparency and Collaboration
The first consultation with me is complimentary. It provides an opportunity to discuss ideas and possibilities. Let’s discover how sound and form can tell your story

about me
From Musician to Artist: Where Sound Meets Form
My journey has taken me from musician to visual artist. I create art objects at the intersection of sound and visual art. Since 2007, I have been exploring how to translate sound into form.
Musical Roots and Defining Experiences
My studies and postgraduate training at the University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim laid the foundation for exploring the expressive possibilities of sound and human connection.
As a member of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, I had the honor of collaborating with world-renowned musicians such as Claudio Abbado, Mariss Jansons, and Martha Argerich. These experiences deeply shaped my understanding of artistic depth and collaboration.

My intensive engagement with chamber music opened new perspectives and inspired my first experiments in visualizing sound.
Visualizing Sound: From Ink to Material
Visual art first manifested through ink drawings, translating the invisible into tangible forms. Through my apprenticeship with master jewelers in Hamburg and Montreux, I learned to bring these ideas into physical objects, expressing auditory impressions through form.
Form, Body, and Technology
Studies at the Institute of Formative Psychology deepened my understanding of how the body shapes emotions and states of being and how it responds to sound. This knowledge continues to influence my artistic practice.
As a co-founder of the UDays Festival in Hamburg, I helped bring Ukrainian culture and art to an international stage.

Together with Michael Ploj, I developed digital methods for sound visualization and co-initiated the international project Sounds of the Cities, which transformed the sounds of seven Ukrainian cities into sculptures.
From Jewelry Collections to International Projects
I created jewelry collections that translated music and sound into wearable art, showcasing my works in galleries such as Hilde Leiss, Yun Gee Park, and the Museum der Arbeit.
The development of a sound visualization app further expanded my work, making sound tangible and formable.

By integrating technology with art, I create innovative methods to explore the sensory dimensions of sound.

about the method:
matter. sound. form
The Matter. Sound. Form is based on a deep engagement with sound, matter, and form. The process is intentionally open to allow room for experimentation and unexpected discoveries. This flexibility enables a dynamic exploration where meaning and sound naturally transform into form.
Matter: In-Depth Dialogue and Analysis
Every project begins with a dialogue to uncover the essence of the idea or theme — the "matter." My background in Formative Psychology, as developed by Stanley Keleman, allows me to incorporate not only intellectual but also bodily responses and spatial perceptions into the creative process.
Sound: Exploring Identity and Emotion
Sound acts as a bridge between ideas and their expression, revealing hidden meanings and emotions. My synesthesia and musical experience enrich this process, allowing me to perceive sound as form and translate it into visual or tangible media.
Sounds as Starting Points:
  • Hidden sounds of urban spaces: Overlooked noises that form the pulse of a city.
  • Social themes: Acoustic reflections of societal movements and developments.
  • Corporate identity: Sonic elements that embody a company’s mission and values.
  • Personal moments: Sounds that capture pivotal or cherished life experiences.
Form: Bringing Ideas to Life
In the final step, the discovered sounds and meanings are transformed into physical forms – whether as sculptures, installations, or other artworks. The choice of materials is tailored to the essence of each project. From metal and wood to digital media, I ensure that each form resonates deeply with its theme.
of my projects
Art Object for Companies and Brands: Art Objects that Embody Values
I create art objects for companies and brands that reflect their values, philosophy, and identity on a symbolic level. By blending sound and form, I develop artworks that are not only visually striking but also emotionally resonant.
Art Projects for Galleries and Museums
I design art projects specifically for galleries and museums. My work aims to explore contemporary themes through sound, visual, and tactile elements, offering visitors new perspectives. These projects provide more than an aesthetic experience; they foster a vibrant dialogue between art, space, and audience.
Explore the creations that merge sound, form, and meaning. Each project is a unique journey into the interplay of emotion, identity, and art.

how i work
how i work
  1. Theme Exploration: In collaboration with the curatorial team, I define the central themes of the exhibition.
  2. Sound and Visual Foundation: I create narrative and emotional soundscapes, combined with visual elements that tell a story and evoke depth.
  3. Shaping the Form: Sounds are translated into physical forms, such as installations, sculptures, or interactive artworks.
  4. Technological Integration: Interactive elements, digital visualizations, or projections enhance the immersive experience.
  5. Exhibition Integration: The artwork is seamlessly embedded into the exhibition, serving as a focal point for reflection and dialogue
  1. Analysis and Dialogue: Together, we explore your brand’s values and goals, defining the essence of the project.
  2. Sound Discovery: I incorporate brand-specific sounds—like production noises, spatial atmospheres, or symbolic tones—into the artistic concept.
  3. Concept Development: Initial designs are created, materials are proposed, and a cost estimate is prepared based on the identified themes.
  4. Shaping the Form: The selected sounds and ideas are translated into objects—such as sculptures, installations, or jewelry pieces.
  5. Execution: The artwork is realized with precision. For larger projects or exhibitions, I collaborate with specialized partners.
